The Frog
This, is an instrument used to make rainforest frog-like sounds:
I could have sworn that we got it from Mauritius, but after doing some research apparently it’s a Thai thing. Must have picked it up in Thailand. This doesn’t actually have any relevence to the day it was taken… except for the fact that I decided to photograph it. Exciting.

I’d love to hear the sounds it makes. Any idea on the actual name of the thing so I can look up video footage of it, maybe on Youtube?

I was just reviewing the blogs I follow and clicked on yours. I saw this, and was going to comment to say, “Hey, one of my sons got one of those recently.” Then I saw that I’d already commented on this a few months ago, but had totally forgotten. I didn’t even clue in when my son came home with the little frog thing, that I’d once seen them before.
